THANK YOU

Our 2022 Spring League has finally come to an end and what an amazing ride it’s been. We have so many talented hockey players down at BMRH and more importantly, the progression of our beginners from start to finish has made this such a special season. Our playoff games were full of excitement and well attended with spectators proving that our Hockey Community is back and better than ever.

In my first season as President, I had high expectations and I am extremely happy with what the Board of Directors have put into place and what we accomplished this season such as:


  • Refurbished our concession stand (the Shack) to give us a nice, clean appearance for the new season and for years to come
  • Launched a brand-new website
  • We made sure our rink had proper signage displayed and brought a professional look back to BMRH
  • Created a Learn to Skate Program so we can start teaching our beginners and grow the game of roller hockey
  • Created a Dek Hockey Clinics Program to teach those, who aren’t necessarily ready to skate, the game of hockey
  • Brought back our traditional themed jerseys but in a fresh new style
  • Set up a Sponsorship program to bring more funding to the league so that we can work towards making BMRH bigger and better than ever for all of our players
  • You wanted Merch – we brought back and sold merchandise so you can represent BMRH
  • All Star Game and Skills Competition to showcase the very best in our league
  • We set rules and followed the guidelines all season long to bring structure back to our league


These are just to name a few


I personally wanted to take the time to thank some very special people who helped make this such a successful season. First and foremost, the Board of Directors. This well-oiled machine doesn’t run without each and every one of you.


To our Sponsors who have partnered with our Youth Organization: We cannot thank you enough for your contributions as we will work towards repaving our playing surface, later this summer. We could not make this happen without all of your support.


To Laura Paul and Joseph Menechino for snapping all those awesome shots at the rink this season. The amazing pictures you take keep us buzzing on the social media side of things and our kids are truly loving them.


To our Coaches, thank you for all you do. You don’t get enough recognition for the time and effort you put into our league. Thank you:

Myself and the rest of the League Directors will continue working hard to improve the overall aspect of the league and make it even better than it is today.


I’m extremely proud of what we accomplished this season and am excited for the future.
