WEEK 1 RECAP
Each week, we will be posting game recaps to share some of the news around the league and highlight some of our key performances. See our recap of week 1, below:
Blackhawks 6 - Kings 5
The Kings jumped out to a hot start and led 5-1 thanks to 2 goals by Nico Buglione. The returns back to BMRH for both Dylan Cimino and Thomas Lutz didn't disappoint as they each recorded a goal. Unfortunately, it's not how you start but how you finish as the Blackhawks stormed back. The reigning Division MVP Brian Justiniano led the surge recording 2 goals and 2 assists while David D'Achille 2 goals and Liam Wilson's 2 assists helped secure the comeback victory.
Devils 11 - Stars 9
Dominant performances for the Devils Brayden Padula (6 goals) and Sam Stawinski (3 goals) as they combined for 9 of the 11 team goals. James Esposito recorded a hat trick for the Stars while Juliana Cusumano and Nicholas Taylor scored twice in the loss.
Blackhawks 8 - Sharks 4
Brian Justiniano continued his division dominance recording 4 goals for the Hawks. Aidan Victorio and Jack Sarosy each scored their 2nd goals of the season while Dan Daly and Liam Wilson added their 1st. Newcomer Tendy Eric Weltner looks to be the real deal in between the pipes for the Hawks. For the Sharks, both Hunter Paul and Paul Pedota recorded 2 tallies a piece.
Golden Knights 7 - Panthers 3
In her 1st BMRH game, Ivy Vanasco is asked to play goal and she records a W! Isabella DiStephan and Brendan Hoefenkrieg each recorded 4 points (2 goals and 2 assists) for the Golden Knights. For the Panthers, they had 3 individual goal scores: Nikolas Kossack, Matthew Foresta and Frank Figueiredo.
Lightning 7 - Flyers 5
Marco Milack's return to BMRH was exactly what we expected as he recorded a hat trick in the loss. The Lightning's Vincent Catalfomo started the season hot leading his team with 4 goals. Miles Bachisin scored twice to help secure the victory.
WIld 9 - Sabres 3
The Wild had 6 different goal scores in this one, way to move the puck! Stefano Turriciano led the way recording a hat trick while William Gavinovich added 2 tallies. Nolan Russo scored twice and Samantha Buglione added the other goal for the Sabres.
