WEEK 10 RECAP

Championship Game 1:

Ducks 9  Penguins 6

The Penguins jumped out to a fast start by goals from Frank Brown (2) and Frankie Smart (2). Andrew Serie, Sean Hoefenkrieg and Christopher Mazzie all scored and brought the Ducks back to trail 6-4 at the end of the 2nd Period. The Ducks Daniel Godek shutout the Pens in the 3rd period while Sam Stawinski's hat-trick sealed the deal as the Ducks take game 1.

Championship Game 2:

Penguins 10  Ducks 4

With the Season on the line, the Pens showed up to play and forced a Game 3. The Pens were led by Michael Shevlin and Frank Brown who each recorded a hat-trick. Brayden Ianniello added 2 more goals to help even the series. For the Ducks, it was all Logan Maslauskas as he scored all 4 of the teams goals. 

Championship Game 3:

Penguins 6  Ducks 3

It all came down to 1 game, winner take all, for the Freshman Division Championship. Both teams played their hearts our competing to the fullest on every single shift. Jordan Lass led the Pens with 4 points recording 2 goals and 2 assists. Matthew Lutwick's goal turned out to be the game-winner for the Pens. Sean Hoefenkrieg, Andrew Serie and Logan Maslauskas scored for the Ducks and although they had 5 power plays, they couldn't inch closer and get one passed Goaltender Thomas Ryan.
