WEEK 10 RECAP

Freshman Division Playoffs - Round 1

Blues 11 - Red Wings 5

The Blues came out flying and never looked back as they took down the Wings in this one. Sean Seidenstein (1 goal, 3 assists), Jack Menelly (3 goals, 1 assist), and Joseph Postiglione (2 goals, 2 assists) led the Blues with 4 points each. Zachary Balnis looked impressive between the Pipes as the Blues advance in the Winners Bracket. Dylan Day and Quinn Miller each finished with a goal and an assist for the Wings. Their season is still alive but only have 1 loss remaining. Their next game will be a win or go home matchup. 

JUNIOR Division Playoffs - Round 1

Predators 12 - Wild 9

The regular season means absolutely nothing! Just ask the Preds as their 10-game losing streak came to an end. Christopher Keane had a 6-point (3 goals, 3 assists) game, while Nicholas Liguori, Matthew Laico, Alex Kute, and Stefano Turriciano, all finished with 4 points. Thomas Primrose earned the dub as the Preds move into the Winners Bracket. For the Wild, Brandon Catalina recorded 4 goals and 2 assists in the loss. 

SOPHOMORE Division Playoffs - SEMIFINALS

Golden Knights 10 - Blue Jackets 6

The Golden Knights were all over the rink and frustrated the Blue Jackets scoring attack. Tyler Zak recorded 5 goals and Jaxon Reedman finished with 4 points (2 goals, 2 assists). Aiden Miller recorded a hat trick and Christopher Buckheit held down the fort in net. Jayce Vanasco scored and added two assists while Ashlyn Hite added two assists of her own. The Blue Jackets season comes to an end. 

Freshman Division Playoffs - Round 2

Stars 14 - Blues 6

The Blues momentum was running high until the crashed into the hot winning streak of the Stars as that now extends to 4 in a row. Joseph Scalise led the way scoring 4 goals and adding an assist. Jordan Daley recorded 2 goals and 2 assists while Sarosh Hasan finished with 4 assists. Zachary Balnis recorded a hat trick for the Blues. The Stars move on to the FInals and the Blues move into a win or go home rematch vs. the Wings. 

JUNIOR Division Playoffs - Round 2

Hurricanes 6 - Predators 3

The Predators, coming off the big upset over the Wild, gave the Canes all they could handle and just came up shy of moving on to the Finals. Matthew Laico and Nicholas Liguori each scored a goal while Stefano Turriciano recorded 2 assists. Thomas Primrose played well between the pipes but Eric Weltner played even better, and got some help from John Roche, who recorded 4 points (2 goals, 2 assists) in the victory. Jeffrey Arale recorded a hat trick and the Canes are 1 win away from their spectacular run at an undefeated season. 

SOPHOMORE Division Playoffs - QUATERFINAL

Maple Leafs 13 - Bruins 3

The Bruins season comes to an end as they run into a scoring machine. Samantha Buglione and Bobby Michaleski each recorded 2 points (1 goal and 1 assist) in the loss. The Leafs Frankie Smart recorded 10 points, 8 of them being goals as he dominated the evening. Nicholas Macko earned the victory as the Leafs move on to face the mighty Flames.
