This was such an entertaining game and yet another nail biter in the division. John Montefuso (2 goals) and Joseph Postiglione (2 assists) each finished with 2 points. The Stars were led by Jordan Messemer who totaled 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) on the evening. Sophomore Division Finals - Game 1

Flames 12 - Golden Knights 4

The Golden Knights came out flying and dominated the game of play early as they had an impressive 3-1 lead. But it's not how you start, it's how you finish. The Flames Coaching Staff called an early timeout to calm things down, and it sure paid off. The Flames scored the next 7 goals taking all the air out of the Knights balloon. Brendan Hoefenkrieg (2 goals, 5 assists), and Logan Maslauskas (3 goals, 4 assists), 7-point evenings led the rush. Sean Hoefenkrieg closed the door in the 2nd half and only allowed one more Knights goal. For the Golden Knights, Tyler Zak scored twice and Jaxon Reedman finished with a goal and an assist. The Flames lead the series 1-0 and are 1 win away from finishing their perfect season
