WEEK 2 RECAP

Panthers 7 - Devils 6 (SO)

The rain cleared and we were finally ready to start the week on Thurs. evening. This game was great and so worth the wait! Both the Devils and Panthers battled back and forth all game long. The Devils were led by Brayden Padula's hat trick while the Panthers had 5 different goal scorers, including Michael Shevlin's goal late in the game to send this to a shootout. The Panthers shooters all scored in the shootout! Marco Tseretopoulos, Brian Barrera and the winner by Samuel Dalton.

Blackhawks 6 - Sharks 2

The Blackhawks continue to stay hot as they win their 3rd straight in as many games. The Hawks have had superb goaltending from Eric Weltner this season. Liam Wilson led the way scoring twice and assisting on another. He now leads the Junior Division in assists. Hunter Paul and Paul Pedota continued their scoring streak but it was enough to out play the Hawks.

Golden Knights 8 - Stars 5

The Golden Knights stuck gold in the 3rd period as they scored 6 times to pull away from the Stars and grab the dub. Robert DiMonda recorded a hat trick while Jayce Vanasco scored and assisted on 2 others. Sean Hoefenkrieg also recorded 2 goals and how about Ivy Vanasco?! Last week she secured the victory in goal and this week she scores one. The Stars Luke Giagrande scored twice while Sofia Anselmo recorded a goal and an assist.

Flyers 9 - Sabres 6

After winning Freshman Division POW, Brayden Padula had a huge game for the Flyers lighting the lamp 4 times! Joseph Adamo recorded a hat trick and added an assist to help the Flyers get the win. The Sabres John Ackermann scored 4 times. Mathew Rosman added two himself but it wasn't enough to help the Sabres.

WIld 7 - Lightning 6 (SO)

Christopher Keane led the Wild with goals, not bad for a Defensemen but this game still went into a shootout. The Lightning's Vincent Catalfomo remained hot recording 5 points (2 goals, 3 assists). The Wild's Stefano Turricano secured the victory as he scored in the shootout.
