WEEK 2 RECAP

Blue Jackets 14 - Maple Leafs 10

What an absolute scoring fest as 24 goals were recorded in this matchup. The Blue Jackets had the slight edge and pulled away late in the 1st half. They never looked back and took home the W. Jake Seidman scored 5 goals and had an assist to lead the Blue Jackets. Brenden Palmer (3 goals, 1 assist), and Rocco Marino (2 goals, 2 assists) each recorded 4 points while Daniel Godek earned the win in net. The Leafs were led by Frankie Smart who finished with 8 points (5 goals, 3 assists), and Lucas Senicola who added 2 goals and 3 assists. 

Flames 12 - Bruins 4

The Flames remain red hot as they are leading the league in goals scored. Logan Maslauskas recorded 10 points (7 goals, 3 assists) while Spencer Dulude, Ryan Busk, and Cameron Gregg added goals to the scoreboard. The B's were led by Colin Jewels who finished with 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist). 

Stars 9 - Blues 4

The Stars even the series vs. the Blues as they bounce back from last week's loss. Parker Kavanagh led the way recording 4 assists, while both Jordan Daley and Nikolas Kossack recorded hat tricks. Johnny "the Hammer" Kossack also scored twice. The Blues were led by Joseph Postiglione who scored twice. 

Hurricanes 4 - Predators 3

Joseph Adamo continued the hot streak recording a hat trick and leading the Hawks to victory. Jayden Cohen added a goal and Jeffrey Arale finished with an assist. Eric Weltner earned his his 2nd victory of the season. For the Preds, Jake Guarino had a goal and 2 assists while Christopher Keane finished with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist). 

Golden Knights 11 - Maple Leafs 9

The Golden Knights move to 2-0 as Tyler Zach records his 2nd straight game with 6 goals scored. Connor Miller added 4 points (3 goals and 1 assist) while Christopher Buckheit earned another dub in goal. For the Leafs, Lucas Senicola recorded 5 points (4 goals, 1 assist), and Thomas Ryan finished with 4 points (2 goals, 2 assists). 

Red Wings 11 - Stars 8

The Wings improve to 2-0 on the young season as their first line continues to provide a high-scoring attack. Sam Stawinski recorded a hat trick and an assist, Marco Tseretopoulos finished with 2 goals and an assist, and Andrew Rapp tallied a goal and 2 assists. Quinn Miller earned the victory in net. For the Stars, Nikolas Kossack scored 6 goals and Sarosh Hasan finished with 2 assists. 

Hurricanes 7 - Wild 2

Joseph Adamo leads the Canes to another victory as he finished the evening with 4 goals. Jeffrey Arale added two of his own and Jayden Cohen scored as well. Christopher Taylor finished with 3 assists. Hunter Paul and Vincent Catalfomo added the lone goals for the Wild.
