WEEK 3 RECAP

Golden Knights 11 - Panthers 7

Up until mid-way through the 2nd Period, this game was back and forth as the Knights led 6-5. They turned it on late in the 2nd period to seal the deal. Jayce Vanasco led the team tallying 5 points (hat trick and 2 assists). Sean Hoefenkrieg continued his hot hand recording a hat trick. Joseph Kraus scored his first of the season. For the Wild, Matteo Tseretopoulos recorded a hat trick. Nikolas Kossack also had a 3 point game (1 goal, 2 assists) in the loss for the Wild.

Lightning 8 - Flyers 6

Vincent Catalfomo was too much to handle as he scored 4 goals and had an assist for the Lightning. Miles Bachisin recorded a 4 point game (2 goals and 2 assists) while Peyton Paul and Christopher Taylor each recorded their first goals of the season. Joseph Adamo led the Flyers with 4 points (3 goals, 1 assist) and Frankie Smart added 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist). These two teams have played some close games this season but the Lightning seem to have the Flyers number just edging them out in both matchups. 

WIld 9 - Sabres 8

The Sabres gave the undefeated Wild a run for their money but just fell short thanks to two late 3rd period goals (1 at 1:33 remaining and the game winner with 22 seconds left) by Patrick Casserly. He capped off the evening with 5 points (3 goals and 2 assists). William Gavinovich recorded a 2 goals and later assisted for the Wild. The Sabres Brendan Russo was dominant in his first game of the season, recording 5 goals while Nolan Russo had a goal and an assist for the Sabres.

Devils 10 - Stars 7

The Devils started hot out of the gate scoring 6 first period goals. Brayden Padula scored 4 goals and Will Terjesen recorded a hat trick. Teddy Hogan, Robert Sullivan and Lucas Kuczynski all scored for the Devils as well. The Stars battled back late scoring 6 goals in the 3rd period but it was a little too late in this one. Big day for Sofia Anselmo recording a hat trick and an assist while Julianna Cusumano scored 2 for the Stars. 

Blackhawks 5 - Kings 4

The Kings Shane Russo led the way scoring 2 goals and recording an assist. Dylan Cimino scored a goal and had an assist while Nolan Gormley added a goal for the Kings. The Hawks Brian Justiniano was too much to handle as he recorded 4 goals and an assist. Brian scored late in the game with under 3 minutes remaining to break the tie and keep the Hawks undefeated. Liam Wilson added 2 more assists to his league lead. 

Panthers 7 - Stars 3

There is something about the Panthers and the number 7 as each of the first for games this season, they have scored 7 goals! Matteo Tseretopoulos had another 4 point game (2 goals, 2 assists). Nikolas Kossack added 2 goals while Frank Figueiredo, Brendan Palmer and Matthew Foresta added the others. Gianluca Milak scored twice for the Stars while Sofia Anselmo added another. 

Sabres 3 - Lightning 2

Sabres win and get their first dub of the season! Nolan Russo led the way in this tight battle vs. the Bolts as he recorded 2 goals. John Ackermann added the other. Miles Bachisin and Nick Biagini each scored for the Bolts. Low scoring equals great goaltending so shout out to both Ryder Bachisin and Dominick Safuto.

WIld 9 - Flyers 4

The Flyers Joseph Adamo was superb in the loss scoring all 4 of the Flyers goals. For the Wild, Christopher Keane answered the call matching 4 goals on his own. Patrick Casserly added 2 while Thomas Yucht scored his first of the season. 

Golden Knights 9 - Devils 5

Brendan Hoefenkrieg was unstoppable as he recorded 5 of the Knights goals. Isabella DiStephan recorded a hat trick to add to the Knights victory. For the Devils, Colin Jewels scored 2 goals while Andrew Rapp and Hugh Terjesen recorded their 1st goals of the season.
