WEEK 4 RECAP


Bruins 12 - Flyers 4

The B's have officially taken over 1st place in the Freshman Division as they took care of business and earned their 5th straight win! Ethan Banks led the B's recording 4 points (3 goals and 1 assist) while Joseph Kraus scored twice and also added an assist. Aidan Dwojak is now 5-0 between the pipes and not only leads the division in wins but also in goals against with a 3.80 GAA. For the Flyers, John Montefusco continues his consecutive games point streak as he scored twice, in the loss. 

Blues 10 - Canadiens 7

The Blues slide into sole possession of 2nd place with just 4 regular season games remaining on their schedule. Top pick, Christopher Keane, recorded 8 total points scoring 4 goals and assisting on 4 others. Brendan Hoefenkrieg and Gavin Kane scored 2 goals a piece in the victory. The Canadiens Logan Maslauskas recorded a hat trick and ended the evening with 5 total points. 

Panthers 11 - Blue Jackets 3

The Cats take down the Blue Jackets! Anthony Catanzarita scored 5 times and later added an assist to cap off a 6 point evening. Ben Margulies recorded 5 points (2 goals and 3 assists), while Jack Sarosy finished with 4 goals. For the Jackets, Shane Russo recorded a hat trick and leads the division with 20 goals, this fall. 

Hurricanes 10 - Lightning 3

The Canes suited up yet another new Goaltender, this season, and Colin Jewels didn't disappoint! The Canes win and move into 1st place (because of goal differential). Will Terjesen led the way scoring 2 goals and assisting on another while brother, HughTerjesen, finished the evening with 2 goals himself. Thomas Pagnanelli and Logan Kute both had 2 assists, each. Leon Guven scored twice for the Bolts. 

Kings 8 - Penguins 4

After the Pens overtime winner, earlier this season, ruined the Kings chances of an undefeated run, the Kings looked to bounce back and get some revenge. The Pens seem to play the Kings tight but the Kings pulled away late to earn the dub. Leading goal scorer, Matthew Vlahakis, scored 4 goals and Lucas Senicola added 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists) to lead the Kings to victory. Patrick Casserly finished the evening with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) for the Pens, in the loss. 

Jets 12 - Stars 11

This was a wild one! What seemed to be an early night, ended up coming right down to the wire. The Jets jumped out to a gigantic lead, and at one point, led 6-1, and later, led 11-4. But the Stars fought back as William Gavinovich, found his scoring touch in the 2nd half and finished the evening with 8 goals. James Esposito scored twice and Samantha Buglione added 1 in the comeback that came up just short. Brayden Padula, led the Jets with 5 points (2 goals and 3 assists) while Jayce Vanasco and Brian Barrera both recorded hat tricks on the evening. 

Flyers 6 - Lightning 4

The Bolts played another close one vs. the Flyers but came up just shy of securing their 1st win of the season. Jordan Daley recorded 2 assists while Matteo Tseretopoulos scored twice for the Lightning. Sam Stawinski led the Flyers with 3 points (2 goals and an assist) while Lucia Montefusco added an assist and her 1st goal of the season. The Flyers slide back into 1st place, with 2 games remaining. 

Kings 7 - Jets 2

After a wild finish the evening prior, the Jets took the rink for their 2nd night in a row. Unfortunately, it was vs. the 1st place Kings, who look to be, the team to beat in the Sophomore Division, this Fall. Matt Vlahakis scored 4 goals and had an assist while Rocco Marino scored twice and added an assist in the win. The Jets goals came from Brayden Padula, as he leads the team with 28 points this season. Jake Seidman assisted on both goals. 

Hurricanes 13 - Bruins 12 OT

The Canes jumped out to an early 5-0 lead but the B's didn't lay down as they forced this one into the shootout. Robert DiMonda led the B's scoring 4 goals and adding an assist. Parker Kavanagh also tallied 4 points (2 goals and 2 assists) while Ivy Vanasco finished with a goal and an assist. The Canes Hugh Terjesen recorded 7 points (5 goals and 2 assists) and teammates Landon Gallagher, Jackson Banke, and Andrew Rapp all had a multi-goal game. The Shootout winner was recorded by Logan Kute. 

Blues 13 - Stars 5

This one was all Blues as Christopher Keane recorded 9 points on the evening (8 goals, 1 assist). Thomas Yucht recorded a hat trick and Spencer Posner recorded 3 assists. Brendan Hoefenkrieg records his 1st win between the pipes! The Stars Jake Guarino led the team recording a hat trick while Christopher Taylor ended the evening with 1 goal and an assist. 

Ducks 6 - Panthers 4

The Ducks take down the Cats and inch closer to the #1 seed. Nico Buglione recorded a hat trick and an assist while Daniel Resnick scored twice in the win. The Panthers Anthony Catanzarita recorded a hat trick and an assist in the loss. As we enter the final stretch of the season, the 1st Place Panthers will face-off against the Ducks in 3 straight appearances to close out their regular season. The final seeding will come down to the wire.
