WEEK 4 RECAP


Kings 2Wild 1

This was such an exciting game to watch as both teams battled it out. Goaltenders Aiden Dwojak and Daniel Godek were superb throughout the entire game and kept the scoring to a minimum. Sam Stawinski scored both Kings goals and helped them earn the victory. Averie Messemer scored the lone goal for the Wild.

Red Wings 11 – Avalanche 10 

After just witnessing one of the lowest scoring games of the season, the 2nd game on the evening was an absolute barn burner! The Wings earned yet another win on the season as they were led by Christopher Keane who recorded 9 points (8 goals and an assist). Some noticeable performances on the Avs side of things as Frank Brown recorded 5 points (4 goals and an assist), William Gavinovich ended with 4 points (3 goals and an assist) and Peyton Paul ended with 3 points (1 goal and 2 assists).

Sabres 8Golden Knights 7OT

We capped off this awesome Monday of hockey with an overtime thriller as the Sabres remain undefeated. Erik Lanzer is normally wheeling and dealing setting up his teammates, but he lit the lamp 4 times in this one, including the OT winner. Both Luke Padula and Kyle Wilcha recorded 3 assists. The Knights James Pelini scored a goal and assisted on two others while Collin Roulston scored twice in the loss.

Devils 15 Coyotes 8

The bulbs on the scoreboard are going to burn out as this game was nothing but goals. The Devs Quinn Miller scored 5 goals and added 2 assists to lead the way while Colin Jewels recorded a hat trick and ended with an assist. Lucas Folchetti-Puglin recorded 3 points (2 goals and an assist) for the Yotes in the loss.

Capitals 9Predators 7

The Capitals Aidan Kregler recorded 5 points (4 goals, 1 assist) while teammate, Jordan Lass matched his total (3 goals, 2 assists) to help the Caps earn their 2nd W of the season. In the loss, the Predators Brendan Hoefenkrieg scored twice and had an assist and, Dominick O’Malley recorded 3 assists.

Canucks 7Flames 4

The Canucks entered the win column earning their 1st of the season. Both Colin Hite and Jack Lagalia recorded hat tricks and added 1 assist, each. The Flames Ethan Cox scored twice in the loss.

Kings 10 Panthers 2

Mason Kun and Parker Kavanagh got the Panthers on the scoreboard, but it wasn’t enough to stop the undefeated Kings. Jackson Banke led the way scoring a hat trick and added 2 assists. Jagger Kalka showed off his playmaking ability recording 3 assists.

Ducks 5Senators 3

The Ducks are battle tested as several players were missing, some due to injury but that didn’t stop their undefeated run on this Spring Season. Matthew Vlahakis scored 4 goals while Nicholas Liguori kept the Sens off the scoreboard just enough to earn their 6th win of the season. The Senators need more reps as the rain has canceled most of their games, this season. Despite not playing together as much, a great all-around effort, led by 3 points from Brayden Padula (2 goals, 1 assist). The Sens move to 0-2.

Golden Knights 9Canucks 6

Nico Buglione recorded a hat trick and added an assist while Jack Purcell (2 goals, 1 assist), and Joseph Braglia (3 assists), finished with 3 points each. Jack Sarosy recorded a hat trick in the loss for the Canucks.

Oilers 4Wild 0

James Carlin earns the shutout as he helps the Oilers move to 4-0 and into a tie for first place! The Oilers were led by Joseph Taglia who recorded 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and 3 different goal scorers: Nicolette Anselmo, Anthony Commisso, and Isa Luskoff.

Kraken 8Predators 7

John Ackermann’s 5 points (4 goals, 1 assist) and Edward Kraus’s hat trick led the Kraken to their 2nd win of the season. In the loss, Dominick O’Malley recorded 5 points (3 goals and 2 assists), while Brendan Hoefenkrieg finished with 3 goals and an assist.

Sabres 10Flames 2

The Sabres scored 5 in the 1st and another 5 in the 2nd, and that was all they needed as they shutdown the Flames. Anthony Catanzarita recorded a hat trick while Erik Lanzer (1 goal, 2 assists), Kyle Wilcha (2 goals, 1 assist), and Anthony Menechino (1 goal, 2 assists) all recorded 3 points.

Panthers 13Devils 5

Sarosh Hasan had a breakout performance recording 6 points (5 goals, 1 assist) for the Panthers. Parker Kavanagh recorded a hat trick and an assist while Mason Kun scored twice. Connor Blumenstetter gets his first victory in goal. Quinn Miller recorded a hat trick and Christopher Mazzie finished with 2 assists for the Devils.

Red Wings 14 Capitals 7

Not much to say here other than SCORE! 21 goals in this matchup is wild but anyhow, the Wings keep on rolling. Christopher Keane recorded 8 points (6 goals, 2 assists) and Lincoln Kelly scored 4 times to make up the Wings offense. For the Caps, Lucas Senicola recorded a hat trick and both Aidan Kregler (1 goal, 1 assist) and Jordan Lass (2 goals) had 2 points each.

Avalanche 10Ducks 3

The shorthanded Ducks played with the bare minimum and unfortunately suffered their first loss of the season. Thomas Yucht and Michael Liguori each recorded a goal and an assist. The Avs Matthew Laico gets the victory between the pipes. Frank Brown led the offense recording a hat trick and one assist and Jake Seidman scored and assisted, twice, to give the Avs their first win of the Spring.
