WEEK 5 RECAP


Predators 7Flames 6

This one came down to the wire as the Flames led by 1 with 3 minutes to go. Jordan Lass tied it all up and Frank Brown recorded the game-winner for the Preds. Nicholas Taylor added two goals for the Preds. The Flames were led by Bobby Michaleski who scored twice. Liam Stone and Dylan Shannon added goals in the loss.

Penguins 12Avalanche 0

Eric Weltner earns the 1st shutout of this Spring Season as the Pens coasted over the Avs. Brian Justiniano led the way recording 9 points (5 goals and 4 assists). Erik Lanzer recorded a hatty and an assist while Aidan Masten added 2 goals and assist.

Kraken 9 - Golden Knights 7

The Kraken outplayed the Knights early as they took a 6-2 lead into the 3rd period. Sam Stawinski ended the day with 5 goals while his teammate, Marco Tseretopoulos added 2 assists. The Golden Knights comeback was enjoyable to watch but they came up just shy in this one. Big performance by Jaxen Dwojak as he recorded a hat trick. Jax Levine and Ivy Vanasco both finished with 2 assists each.

Sharks 14 Panthers 8

Joseph Adamo led the Sharks to victory scoring 4 times and adding 3 assists. Anthony Menechino followed scoring 4 goals. The additional goal scorers for the Sharks were Mathew Laico, Aiden Martins and Charles McMahon (2 goals). The Panthers were led by Patrick Casserly who recorded 2 goals and 3 assists and Matt Vlahkis who ended with 4 goals and an assist.

Maple Leafs 7Wild 6 OT

Donovan Butler does it again as he records the overtime winner and ended the evening with 4 points (3 goals, 1 assist). Nick Zummo followed with a goal and 2 assists. Landon Butler and John Imperiale also scored. For the Wild, Colin Hite had a big night scoring 4 goals. Liam Wilson and Dylan Ruzz added the others.

Senators 5 – Flames 3

The Sens pull off the victory in a low scoring battle vs. the Flames. For the Sens, Juliana Cusumano scored 2 goals and Brady Weiner, Christopher Mazzie and William Blumenstetter scored a goal each. The Flames goals were scored by Nikolas Kossack, Kenneth Nehrebecki and Jacob Alston scored.

Ducks 7Coyotes 6

After being down 4-1 the Yotes fought back and scored five 2nd half goals. Christopher Keane led the way totaling 5 on the night while Aidan Kregler added the other. Unfortunately, the Ducks were too much to handle and earned the W. Alex Distefano (4 points) and John Ackermann (5 points) each recorded a hat trick in the win.

Penguins 6Maple Leafs 4

A playoff type atmosphere down at BMRH as 1st place was up for grabs. Both teams showed heart and grit as they battled it out. A record high 9 penalties in total as the Pens took home the division title. Big Game Brian, Brian Justiniano recorded 4 goals and an assist while Brandon Bucci added 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) as well. Donovan Butler was held to 2 goals while Thomas Lutz also added a pair in the loss, for the Leafs.

Kraken 9Predators 5

It was raining hat tricks as Christopher Buckheit, Logan Maslauskas and Jake Lamonica all recorded one for the Kraken. The Kraken have now won 5 in a row and have a commanding lead in the division. Jordan Lass recorded a hat trick as well plus an assist for the Preds in the loss. Jordan now has 21 points and sits on top of the lead in the Freshman Division.

Oilers 7Panthers 4

Jackson Dipasquale and Miles Bachisin each recorded 2 goals and an assist while Brayden Ianniello and Paul Raimondi added others in the win. Matt Vlahkis, Patrick Casserly and Brandon Godsil all scored for the Panthers.

Sharks 11Bruins 4

Anthony Menechino totaled 8 points (6 goals, 2 assists) while Lucas Senicola added 3 (1 goal, 2 assists) and Charles McMahon added another. Matthew Laico was dominant in his return between the pipes only letting up 4 goals on the evening. For the B’s, Brayden Padula and Marco Milack each scored twice.
