WEEK 5 RECAP
Flames 13 - Blue Jackets 7
Logan Masluaskas (7 goals, 2 assists), and Brendan Hoefenkrieg (5 goals, 1 assist) do it again for the Flames and keep them undefeated. in the loss, Jayce Vanasco recorded 6 points (3 goals, 3 assists), and Rocco Marino ended up with 2 goals and an assist. Ivy Vanasco scored her 1st goal in the Sophomore Division.
Golden Knights 8 - Maple Leafs 7 OT
After the Leafs broke out to a commanding 6-1 lead, the Golden Knights charged back and earned the dub in Overtime. Tyler Zach got the game-winner which gave him 6 goals on the evening. Jaxon Reedman finished with 4 points (2 goals, 2 assists). The Leafs Thomas Ryan recorded 7 points, 6 of them being assists, and Lucas Senicola added 5 goals in the loss.
Stars 7 - Red Wings 5
The Stars slide into 1st place as James Alveari recorded a hat trick and Elliot Dulude earned the win in his first game as goalie, this season. William Brucia scored a goal for the Wings and Dylan Day added an assist in the loss.
Blue Jackets 7 - Bruins 7
Rocco Marino led the Blue Jackets to victory as he recorded a total of 7 points (4 goals, 3 assists), while Jayce Vanasco added 6 goals on the evening. Ashlyn Hite finished with 2 goals and 2 assists in the win. For the B's, Robert Dowd totaled 4 points (1 goal, 3 assists), and Robert DiMonda, Colin Jewels, and Bobby Michaleski scored two goal each, and added one assist each.
Hurricanes 8 - Predators 6
Matthew Vlahakis totaled 5 points (3 goals, 2 assists), and Jeffrey Arale added 4 points (2 goals, 2 assists) as the Canes move to 6-0. The Preds Christopher Keane recorded a hat trick and 2 assists, while Stefano Turriciano also recorded a hat trick. The Preds continue to work hard but are still looking for their first victory of the season.
Blues 6 - Stars 1
The Blues shutdown the Stars in this low-scoring affair as Joseph Taglia was superb in goal. The Blues had 5 different goal scorers: Thomas Pagnanelli (2 goals), John Montefusco (1 goal, 1 assist), Zachary Balnis (1 goal), Sean Seidenstein (1 goal), and Anthony Commisso (1 goal). Nikolas Kossack scored the lone goal for the Stars.
