WEEK 7 RECAP

*BMRH Weekly Recaps may contain material that may be considered offensive, controversial, or triggering to some hockey players. Our recaps are a fun way to display scores from around the league and showcase some of the key performances that occurred throughout the week. Our authors have fun creating this content, and you should too. No animals are hurt nor hockey sticks were are broken when creating these recaps.

Golden Knights 6 - Maple Leafs 4

Tyler Zak continues his impressive season as he recorded 2 goals and 2 assists in the victory. Jaxon Reedman and Aiden Miller each added a pair of goals while Owen Pessel had a pair of assists. Lucas Senicola led the Leafs with 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist). The Golden Knights take over 2nd place and still have a few games in-hand. 

Blue Jackets 7 - Bruins 6

Jake Seidman recorded 6 points (5 goals, 1 assist) as he continues to light up the stat sheet and lead the Jackets in scoring. Brenden Palmer added two goals while Daniel Godek earned the dub in goal. For the B's Colin Jewels recorded a hat trick and Paul Raimondi finished with 2 goals and an assist in the loss. 

Stars 11 - Blues 6

Londyn Messemer (2 goals, 1 assist) and Jordan Daley (3 goals) for the Stars each recorded 3 points on the evening, Jacob Sterner get the W and put them in sole possession of 1st place. Thomas Pagnanelli (2 goals), John Montefusco (2 goals), and Jack Menelly (2 assists), all led the Blues on the stat sheet. 

Hurricanes 9 - Predators 2

The dynamic duo strikes again! Joseph Adamo (3 goals, 2 assists), and Matthew Vlahakis (2 goals, 3 assists) each recorded 5 points in the W. Eric Weltner continues to keep the puck out of the net as the Canes improve to 6-1 on the season. Matthew Laico, Alex Kute, Christopher Keane and Lincoln Kelly recorded a point, each in the loss. 

Flames 11 - Golden Knights 4

Gavin Kane recorded 6 points (4 goals, 2 assists) and led the Flames to victory. John Tamm recorded a goal and 2 assists while both Cameron Gregg, and Ryan Busk recorded 2 assists each. The Flames clinch the #1 seed and are heading into the postseason, red hot! Tyler Zak finished the game with 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist), and Aiden Miller scored twice. The Golden Knights are looking like the #2 seed but still a few games remaining in the regular season. 

Blues 8 - Red Wings 3

The Blues finish the regular season at .500 with a 5-5 record. Zachary Balnis suited up in goal and held the Wings to only 3 goals. Thomas Pagnanelli scored 4 times and added an assist in the win. Both Joseph Taglia and Jack Menelly finished with 2 goals and an assist. The Wings Matteo Tseretopoulos scored twice, giving him 15 on the season while Quinn Miller finished with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist). 

Wild 13 - Predators 10

23 goals means absolutely no defense in this barn burner. We end the week on a wild night, no pun intended as the Wild hold off the feisty Preds and win by 3. Nicholas Liguori fought hard for that 1st win of the season and finished with a season high 7 points (3 goals, 4 assists).  Edward Kraus also recorded a hat trick for the Preds and added 2 assists. Anthony Catanzarita scored 8 times and had an assist for the Wild while Hunter Paul had a hat trick and 6 assists, and Vincent Catalfomo recorded 4 assists.
