Freshman Division Finals - Game 1
Golden Knights 8 - Panthers 3OT
This was by far one of the best and most exciting games of the Fall Season. These teams battled back and forth all game long. The Panthers Michael Shevlin and the Knights Robert DiMonda both suited up to play goaltender for their teams as the starters for each were both out with the flu. Matteo Tseretopoulos, Frank Figueiredo and Kenneth Nehrebecki scored for the Panthers. Brendan Hoefenkrieg continued his scoring streak and recorded 3 goals, one being the game winner in the first shift of overtime. The entire league is looking forward to Game 2!
Sophomore Division Finals - Game 1
Sabres 5 - WIld 4
The Sabres jumped out to an early lead but the Wild fought back late and pulled within 1. Dominick Safuto made some keys saves late to help the Sabres take Game 1. Brendan Russo led the way recording 4 goals and an assist. John Ackermann added the other Sabres goal. The Wild were led by Stefano Turriciano who scored twice and made some key plays to help the Wild keep this one close.
Kings 11 - Sharks 6
The dynamic duo on the Kings strike again as Nico Buglione and Shane Russo combined for a total of 15 points. Thomas Lutz recorded 5 assists as he set his forwards up all night long. For the Sharks, Hunter Paul scored twice while Jake Paul scored and added 2 assists. The Kings remain in first place with 1 game remaining but the Hawks are on their tail. The Sharks will finish 3rd but dont be fooled by this roster. After a long season, a 1-game playoff could be all they need to get motivated again and who knows what can happen if they get hot at the right time.
Freshman Division Finals - Game 2
Golden Knights 8 - Panthers 1
The Panthers had a great season and gave it their best shot. Brenden Palmer scored the lone goal that was assisted from Frank Figueiredo. Unfortunately for them, Jayce Vanasco was a wall in between the pipes as he continued to make save after save all game long. Brendan Hoefenkrieg led the way scoring 5 times! Sean Hoefenkrieg, Jack Menelly and John Kraus scored the others. Prior to the game, Isabella DiStephan received M.V.P. honors.
